* We have a minimum charge of 10 images per format but for a flat $10 will provide you with five scans from mounted 35mm slides and/or 2 each of the other formats (at $10/format) as a one time demonstration of just how good these scans are.

* Our Standard scans are cleaned with compressed deionized air to remove surface dust. We scan on an Imacon 949 scanner and save as 16-bit, 120 Mb files (approximately). Scans are full frame and will include a small area outside the image. Scans are burned to a DVD or in the case of large quantities saved to a free hard drive. Shipping is charged at our cost plus a packaging fee. We ship via FedEx, UPS and California Overnight. Please let us know which courier and which service you prefer. Any spotting, cropping, rotation or corrective work will move Standard scans into the Managed scans category.
** Managed scans include cropping to the image to eliminate slide mount edges or film borders. Spotting will be done at a 50% image magnification although this is not intended to repair damaged or extremely dirty film. Color/density will be limited to one global correction and any sharpening, if desired, must be requested when the order is placed. Images rotated to correct orientation.
(More thorough spotting is available at a 100% or 200% enlargement for an additional fee).
Damaged film (scratches/embedded hair etc.) will be scanned but the damage not repaired. Damaged slide mounts (taped/warped/torn etc.) will not be scanned unless image can be removed from the damaged mount.

Our computer artists collaborate with you to blend, manipulate, compose and transform images to match your concepts. Creative work of two hours and more includes a color proof print.
Additionally we no longer burn bulk scans to CDs for free. The process is time consuming and we will charge $6.00/CD. DVDs are free, drives are $100 for up to 999 35mm mounted slides or 500 other formats. For more than 1000 mounted slides, we provide a free drive or more than 500 other formats we will also provide a free drive.
